Pie It Forward - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

WHY WE DO THIS?

We all need two things at Thanksgiving time: a delicious pie and to give thanks by paying it forward. With one pie purchase, you can feed a homebound client of MOW a week’s worth of hot, nutritious meals.  Give the pie as a gift or buy for your Thanksgiving table.

HOW MUCH DOES A PIE COST?

$25 buys you a delicious pie baked especially for you from one of Palm Beach County’s finest chefs.

WHAT IS THE LAST DAY TO PURCHASE PIES?

Monday, November 13

WHAT IS A VIRTUAL PIE?

If pie is too sweet to eat or you’ll be out of town for Thanksgiving, buy a virtual pie and support the cause.  Your $25 donation will feed a homebound senior for one week!  No pies will be received.

WHAT FLAVORS ARE THE PIES?

We sell apple, pecan, pumpkin, and gluten free apple (limited quantities)

WHAT IF I CANNOT PICK UP MY PIE?

You can ask a family member, friend or colleague to pick up your pies for you.  Any unclaimed pies, from both locations by 6:30 PM on November 21, will be donated to local hunger relief charities the following day.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I FORGET TO PICK UP MY PIES?

We do our best to prevent this from happening by sending email reminders to all pie purchasers the week before pick-ups.  However, any unclaimed pies, from both locations by 6:30 PM on November 21, will be donated to local hunger relief charities the following day.
